Bruce Hemphill serves as Chair of the Athora Holding Ltd. Board of Directors, the Chair of its Risk Committee and as a member of the Compensation, Conflicts and Transactions Committees.
He is a global leader in the financial services industry with a 30-year track record in senior executive and non-executive leadership roles across international markets and jurisdictions. Bruce most recently served as non-executive Chair of Catalina Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd. Previously, he served as Group Chief Executive Officer of Old Mutual plc, a FTSE 100 company, and earlier in his career was CEO at Liberty Holdings.
Born in South Africa, he gained a BA in Politics and Law from the University of Cape Town and qualified as a lawyer earlier in his career.
